Hey – at least it hasn’t been a whole year!

The Upper Chatahoochee River Keepers held their 7th annual boat race and day-fest.  We took the girls, hoping it wouldn’t be to hot n humid.  Good times!  Madeline looooooves live music – would not stop dancing.  Jen and I definitely recommend this for next year – we’re thinking of entering the race ourselves!

We joined a bunch of ATL-area friends camping up at Red Top State Park, on Lake Alatoona.  The weather was beautiful, the lake was cool – not cold.  The Girls loved it, esp Madeline, who was enjoying her first camping excursion.  Definitely going again next year.  Great fun, really inexpensive – perfect for The Wells’.

The weather turned much warmer in May, still plenty of rain this year.  That’s good, as the last 8 years have been severly drought-ridden in GA.  Grandpa and Grandma Wells had a nice layover in ATL on their way back home from AZ, so me n the Girls Wells met them at the airport and we went out for dinner.  Madeline was a little iffy with the ‘rents, as she has not seen them much.  We’ll be up in IL in Sept for a wedding, and then hoping to go at Xmas time as well…..

No idea when we’ll be able to afford a new one — prolly not till after the holidaze.
